Adventures of a Dot

The “Dot” series of 10 card sets promotes higher-level thinking. Each set relates to a believable experience undertaken by a little character called Dot.

And who is Dot? Well, Dot defi nitely is a child, but only individual students can decide how old Dot is or what gender.

We do know that Dot shows up in places youngsters like to go—the beach, a basketball game, the mall. These places, and Dot’s excursions, become the focus for intellectual play.

The activities are designed to be done independently and require a written response (no teacher preparation needed). Just give children the card sets and let them go!
